Connecting with the Heart
I believe that love will change the world. Many wiser and greater people than I have said this before, but I couldn’t help noticing that not everyone seems to be listening, so I’m saying it again.
Not only wise and great people say this, even musicians say it. Musicians like The Beatles: “All you need is love…” or Hal David and Burt Bacharach: “What the world needs now is love sweet love…”
So a lot of people seem to agree that love is really important. And there really should be no shortage – after all, love is the ultimate renewable resource – it never runs out. So how do we get more ready access to it?
If I ask you where, in your body, love comes from, you’ll probably touch your heart. That’s natural. But I wanted to make sure so I asked a cardio-vascular surgeon. But he told me ‘no’. He said, “in the heart there are a lot of arteries and veins and blood and ventricles and stuff, but I’ve operated on 147 hearts, and I never saw any love.”
“So how come I feel love in my heart?”
“Ah,” he said, setting down his battered copy of the Bhagavad Gita. “You’re talking about your spiritual heart.”
Now this was something I understood. In yoga we call it the “Anahata Cakra”. That’s the bit that gets all warm and feels like it’s glowing when you see a picture of a cute little girl with a puppy and go ‘Aaaah’.
Or you gaze up on a pitch dark night to see the stars, floating like frozen shoals on the ocean of night, and your mind leaps out to embrace the infinite, and you catch your breath.
How would you like to feel that ‘Aaaah’ all the time?
There is a science to developing the anahat chakra. It is called bhakti yoga. That’s what spiritual chanting and meditation on infinite love are all about. They help connect your mind with your spiritual heart.
A lot of people think meditation is a kind of relaxation, or stress relief. More and more health facilities offer meditation classes because it reduces stress, lowers blood pressure and has all kinds of physiological benefits. But those are just side effects. Meditation was invented for a bigger reason.
After all, you don’t find a lot of people singing: 🎶 “All you need is health, da da da da da all you need is relaxation, da da da da da, all you need is lower blood pressure, stress management is all you need.” 🎶
That doesn’t quite work, does it?
What the world needs now really is love. And you need it too – so unless you’re from some other world, listen up. To connect your mind with your spiritual heart, you need to get access to them both.
The meditation practice that I teach can help you to balance mind and heart, connect to the source of limitless love within you and share it around.
If you do this you will find yourself happier, healthier, more vital, and more alive than you dreamed possible. Other people will like you more as you grow to like them more. You will certainly like yourself a lot more. You will become a more compassionate, kinder, more loving, more understanding, patient, stronger, more self-confident, insightful, creative, inspiring and generally nicer kind of person.
Sounds great doesn’t it? So don’t just dream about it. Take the next step on the path of Spiritual Meditation.

Universal Love is an infectious condition. Take this first step now, and it will begin to reflect in your actions, your mood and your personality, and it will spread.
And together, our love will change the world.
Love can change everything, becouse Love is a God!.
In the heart there exists a minute heart (mun in Hindi), which is not visible from senses or through instruments. We need to feel, love and respect our spiritual body in order to be happy.
i would put this as close to the beginning as possible; “After all, you don’t find people singing: “All you need is health, da da da da da all you need is relaxation, da da da da da, all you need is lower blood pressure, stress management is all you need.” It’s ‘all you need is love (hopefully people are chuckling, loosened up and get the point right away, ) then- but what is love…surgeon…anahata and meditation, and have people experiment with a minute or 2 of deep slow breathing, hands on, involved, take it home with them.
That’s easy. When I do it live, I sing it, so people get it immediately.

Love is not a theory, it comes from the heart.

I like the heart message much better, although the Island one is good too. The reason I like the heart one better is because we ALL need more love and positive loving thoughts towards others.
I love the idea of getting some meditations, etc. from you.
The Island idea, although very real, we all have such different personalities. Some of us are outgoing, some loners, others in between. I don’t always want to connect with others, but do want to feel more love. May God guide your decision.

I pressed submit and my response didn’t seem to go to you.
I like the heart message better as we all need more love and positive thoughts towards others.
The Island thing is good too. But we all have a variety of personalities. Some are outgoing. In my case I can be very much that way. But I am also a loner, and at times don’t care to be around others.
I think you could combine the two, with the emphasis on the heart.
Thank you for your enlightenment. May God guide your decision
